I’m not even going to try and tell you how to use David Berman’s TimeTo for Windows as your GTD application–somebody already did a pretty good job of that, and you can read the details in the TimeTo online help. I am just starting with GTD myself, and besides that isn’t the focus of this website.
For a while now, Mac users have had the good fortune of access to a free application, built on OmniOutliner Pro, called Kinkless GTD (kGTD). Lifehacker, 43Folders, and others have been busy getting their inboxes cleared, and finding time for other fun stuff, while poor Windows users have slogged along with some cludged together process, or worse yet something based on Microsoft Outlook.
Well, I am happy to report that after an entire night of searching (and a solid week of use) that TimeTo is an almost kinkless way to get things done.
